Main Deity Names: Lord Nithya Kalyana Perumal (Lord Varaha) and Goddess Komalavalli Thayar.
Temple History: One of the 108 Divya Desams. Legend states that Sage Kalava had 360 daughters. Lord Vishnu, in the form of a young bachelor (Brahmachari), visited the sage and married one daughter every day for an entire year (360 days). Since he marries "daily," he is called Nithya Kalyana Perumal.
Speciality: The presiding deity is an incarnation of Varaha Murthy holding Bhudevi on his left lap. The temple is over 1,000 years old, built by the Pallavas.
Rituals: Purchase two garlands and an Archana kit. Perform Archana in your name and star.
Parikaram & How to do: The priest will give you one garland. You must wear it and walk around the temple outer precinct (Prakaram) 9 times. Then, take the garland home and keep it in the pooja room. After the wedding, return with your spouse to offer the old garland at the Sthala Vriksham (Divine Tree).
